Introduction:
Deepshikha Daga, the founder of Deep’s Dancing Divas, blends the grace of Kathak dance with the soulful expression of singing. Originally from Kolkata, she has been based in Copenhagen since 2007, where she continues to promote and preserve Indian cultural heritage.
Education & Training:
Deepshikha began her Kathak journey in 1989. She attained a 5th Year Kathak Certificate from Sarbabhartiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad and furthered her expertise with a Sangeet Visharad (6th year) from Gitanjali Music Institution, Kolkata.
Artistic Endeavors:
Driven by her deep love for dance and music, Deepshikha has organized and participated in numerous cultural events across Denmark. Her performances at Danish Kommune events and Indian cultural associations have earned widespread appreciation for her ability to seamlessly integrate dance and theatrical storytelling.
Cultural Contributions:
Deepshikha imparts her knowledge of classical, folk, and Bollywood dance to children and enthusiasts across Scandinavia. She has been a part of over 500 cultural events, consistently fostering a love for Indian art forms among diverse audiences.

Deepshikha began her Kathak journey in 1989. She attained a 4th Year Kathak certification from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad (Suragiti Music College Kolkata), and furthered her expertise with a Sangeet Visharad (6th year) from Gitanjali Music Institution Kolkata.

Driven by her love for dance and music, Deepshikha organized and took part in various cultural events in Denmark. Her performances at Danish Kommune events and Indian cultural associations earned her praise for combining dance and drama.
